Praia do Camilo

Praia do Camilo is a small, sheltered cove beach near Lagos on Portugal's Algarve coast. Reached by a steep wooden staircase cut into the golden sandstone cliffs, the beach is intimate, dramatic, and endlessly photogenic. The surrounding rock formations create natural pools and mini grottos, and the water clarity rivals anywhere in southern Europe.
